The Taste Tour of Washington County is an epicurean adventure celebrating the many fine establishments in and around Washington County. 30 of the area’s finest food and beverage establishments will participate, serving delicious appetizers, entrees, desserts, pastries, and beverages of world cuisines.
The Greater Washington County Food Bank/Food Helpers, in partnership with local corporate and community leaders, work together to reduce food insecurity for children in Washington County. During the 2025-26 school year over 80,000 LittleMoochi® snack packs were delivered to nearly 10,000 students monthly in 14 Washington County school districts, at over $55,000 per month, totaling $495,000 for the year. Expansion of the program to all districts in Washington County will require $85,000 per month for a total of $765,000 for the school year.
For food-insecure middle and high school students, Food Helpers launched a LittleMoochi® Pantry Program supplying easy-to-prepare, shelf-stable meals for students to take home, ensuring they have access to food beyond school hours. The LittleMoochi® Pantry Program debuted in the Washington and Ringgold school districts, with monthly deliveries of food items directly to participating schools.
100% of all sponsor dollars from The Taste Tour of Washington County will underwrite these programs. Please join leaders who want to make a difference in the lives of children in our schools.
